DISNEY’S ANIMAL KINGDOM® THEME PARK


As members of your group enter Disney’s Animal Kingdom® Theme Park, they tune into their surroundings. In the distance is the rhythmic cadence of drums mingling with songs of celebration. As they draw nearer, in the air they can almost hear the calls of exotic animals. In fact they’re just about to discover that the night will be filled with wild life...

Soon, singers, dancers, and puppeteers will be celebrating the circle of life at the elegant Festival of the Lion King Gala Dinner. And at this command performance, your friends will be their welcomed Guests of honor.

Escorted into a grand, yet intimate venue, your Guests are immediately swept into the action as their host, Kiume, and his fellow band of traveling musicians welcome your group with a musical prelude. Next, Kiume declares that the celebration begin with a feast! The deep thunder of the Royal Drums of Africa heralds a procession of servers who deliver a five-star feast for the senses.

A wide-ranging assortment of Disney delicacies inspired by the flavors of Africa is set upon tables lovingly adorned with animal-print linens, votive candles, and tropically-themed floral centerpieces. While dining, the mood is one of subtle elegance as the gentle melodies of the African trio, Wassalou,

capture the soothing ambiance of nature. The cuisine may be complemented by a beverage service appropriate for your group; from soft drinks, to beer, to wine, to full premium brands bar with specialty drinks.

While dessert may mark the end of any other event, tonight it is only the appetizer for an incredible command performance. Taking the stage, Kiume and his troupe return, bringing with them the complete cast of a fast-moving, high-flying, edge-of-your-seat live action show. Featuring puppets, aerialists, acrobats, and comic characters, the audience-participation event is a high energy Broadway-style spectacular that’s an ideal way to wrap up your event as they experience the pageantry of a colorful procession combined with singing and dancing inspired by Disney’s very own world-class Broadway-style production.

Your Guests depart, agreeing that the entire evening is worthy of an encore. Tonight they felt a connection to the performers, their surroundings, and to one another. The circle of life is complete.
