1A) iMac Applications

This is the Camtasia application in which I used to show the convention of the thriller title order for Evaluation Question 1

This is the Live Text which was used to write our film title Greydog.

This is the Motion application that was used to make the Distribution Company logo for the short film.

This is Sound Track Pro where we used to edit the sound into the right place for the film, using copyright free music, foley and digital sounds.

This is Final Cut Pro where I edit the clips together for a rough and final draft before putting into Sound Track Pro and after Sound Track Pro as an error occurred and a final bit of final editing had to be done.

This is MPEG Stream clip where I used to convert the video from Final Cut Pro to .mp4 to post on the blog and .AVI to have for myself and to post on YouTube.

I used Microsoft PowerPoint 2011 to do Evaluation Question 3.

This is the iMac computer in which I made all this coursework possible.

1B)Equipment

This is a JVC camera like the one

I used.

This is a tripod in which I used to mount the JVC camera to do pan shot, still shots, long and short shots.

This is a Figrig. I used it to have better handling on the camera while I was walking and following the character.

This is a Flip Camera was used to get audience feedback from the Pitch we presented to the class and also to receive comments from our teacher about the rough cut of the film.

This is a still camera that was used to take pictures of the location that we was going to film at, taking pictures of the storyboard and also taking still pictures while we was filming to put on the blog.

This is the website where we got the copyright free music.

Prezi is a internet presentation like PowerPoint. I used Prezi for the pitch for our thriller film and also for Evaluation Question 2.

Slideshare is a internet slideshow presentation like Prezi but it is used to convert such presentations on PowerPoint to convert it into a slideshow for the blog. I used Slideshare for Evaluation Question 3 and also for this Evaluation Question which I used Microsoft PowerPoint before converting it.

• First of all, we needed the equipment such as the tripod and the camera to shoot the film opening. Without the camera, we wouldn’t have a film and without a tripod or a figrig, we wouldn’t have a clean shoot but instead a wobbly handheld shoot that would of made us lose a lot of marks.• Final Cut Pro and Sound Track Pro are the two most important application

programs after the camera. Without both of these, we could never have put the clips together in a good sequences and edited the way we wanted, there would not be any sound that would match the thriller theme and instead sound very uninterested and very dull.• Other application programs such as Live Text and Motion helped us to

use these applications to make the distribution company logo and the film title to add into our film to show that we could use different things to put into our film to look good.

2) How some of the technologies used to constructed the film opening

• Each of the technologies that was used in this coursework were extremely important. We used different technologies websites to be more presentable in the blogging but also in the presentation of why and what and the steps of the coursework we did.
