EVARISTO VALLE
Last Tuesday, 12th May, my class went to Evaristo Valle's museum. There, we saw an exhibition and we learnt about Evaristo's life.
Evaristo was born in 1873 here, in Asturias. People at that time wore clothes with a lot of buttons because the zip wasn't invented. His mother was a housewife and she could sew, cook and
did other things, while his father was a judge.
When Evaristo was young, he learnt how to draw, he did some portraits, and his father showed it to his friends. Evaristo also had to travel to Puerto Rico and the Philippines. Unfortunalety for Evaristo, his father died in Puerto Rico, and he returned to Asturias.
Later, when he was older, he travelled to Paris, where he was happy, and he sold some of his pictures to his niece, but when Evaristo returned to Asturias to stay forever, he died, and his
niece Maria made a museum with his
pictures .
