was happening”

“Very good”

“Good!”

“Really good, interesting!”

“Very good, although it looked superimposed”

“Quite poor. The weird Star Wars-esque

hologram thing (while not necessarily looking bad) seemed to make little sense and wasn't exactly frightening.”

“I was expecting something a little more

scary.”

What did you like most What did you like most about the trailer?about the trailer?

The effect of strobing around the door looked very good and suited the mood

perfectly

Suspense!

Good camera work, smooth moves & cuts,

nice mix of indoor and

outdoor scenes

I just liked all of it. Effects were good.

There has obviously been some real thought and research put into the

making of this trailer for SHIFT. I enjoyed the way it built the tension and set

the scene. It gathered pace and grabbed your attention quickly but

without giving too much away. I was left intrigued

as to how the storyline would progress and how the movie would finally

end. I have seen many so called top budget trailers

that have done a lot worse; great trailer in my

opinion.

What would you change? What would you change?Alterations required for the

music at the end a faster paced piece to match the

speed of the editing

I don't think that I got an idea of what the film is going to

be about - the trailer doesn't seem to

convey a lot about the storyline.

Some more clips from different parts, so that it doesn't seem like it's all set in the house and/or

woods, it made it seem a bit static

I'd change the font for the words at beginning because they seem a bit

harsh and i think that the music and the film

emphasise that its really tense so you could have used a less bold font like the one for the name of the film or the website

and that would also mean that the three bits of text went together better as

well..
