Camera equipment

• The camera equipment available to us was very successful. We used a video camera, dollytrack, tripod and other pieces of equipment in order to make our film the best we possibly could.

• We found that the camera itself was very stable so when filming did not have a kinetic feel to it.

Problems faced

• Although the camera was not shaky it tended to lose focus as we filmed whilst walking. We managed to resolve this issue with the use of the dolly track as it gave us enough time to film specific shots without any movement or loss of focus from the camera

Editing

• Our most successful technique was the use of continuity editing as it helped the film to flow and added verisimilitude to it.

• Fast edits helped to make the film more direct adding to the sense of tension the audience has come to expect from the thriller genre.

technologies

• From this process I have learnt how to embed images, create new ways of blogging (prezi’s, slideshare etc) and learnt how to how to construct and edit a film from pre-production right through to post-production.

• The different use of software's have also helped to enhance my understanding of the techniques needed to make a good film.
