Transcript of Evaluation Question 5

I used Social Media, Facebook, to attract my audience. I updated the Facebook page regularly to keep the link with my target audience open. I posted questionnaires on there to keep the audience involved with the process of making the film opening.

I shared this through my own Twitter and Facebook pages and got people to ask their friends which story idea they like the best this proved quite hard to get responses to so after this I decided to create questionnaires in which to get responses. Theses are the initial ideas for my project.

These are some

of the responses

that I collected

for my initial

ideas

I used 2 questionnaires during the process of making my film opening. They were extremely important as they helped me to get the right title for my film and to understand whether or not my film was appropriate for my target audience or not. I created my surveys using Smart Survey.

I shared this questionnaire on my Facebook page at I was able to achieve a clear winner and see which title idea people found most popular.

I chose the most popular answer as over half of the people who voted chose this title showing me that it was the most popular response among my target audience.

The responses from this questionnaire allowed me to see whether or not my film attracted my audience and whether or not my audience wanted to watch my film.

I also attracted my audience by uploading photos from the days when we were out filming to allow my audience to feel involved with the process of filming for the footage for the film opening.

I attracted my audience by using characters similar to the age of my audience. I also gave the characters a story line that is relatable to many people in my target audience. By making the characters relatable it meant that the target audience were more likely to engage with the film.

I set my film in a setting that is well recognised by people in the target audience because they know setting and the kind of things experienced with in the setting.
