Media institution. One media institution that might distribute my music magazine is the Bauer publishing group. I think this media institution is best for the distribution of my music magazine as this is one of the most successful media companies in the world.

It is also now the largest consumer magazine publishing company in the UK, playing a primary role in the womens weeklies, womens interest, womens lifestyles, TV listings, puzzles, mens lifestyle, music & film and specialist magazine markets.

As a result the Bauer publishing group is a worldwide known media company who has produced many popular magazines over the years. For example the Q music magazine is one of the 570 magazines plus that are published by them; they have also published over 300 digital products and 50 TV and radio stations that all reach millions of people around the globe.

The Bauer publishing group also have a very stable turnover of more than two billion Euros per year.

Why is this good for my magazine? This is good for my magazine as it would mean my audience will be more widely spread as the institution will be extremely popular and therefore there will be more sales of my magazine as they will believe my magazine will be of the same high standards of what Bauer Media has previously published. A stable turnover is also good when distributing my magazine as it will mean I can rely on a consistent and reasonable profit though out the selling of my magazines.
