There aren’t many recurring motifs between my music video and my ancillary products. The titles in the music video are the same font, colour and style as on my advert and digipak.

There is a theme with the text on all threeof my products and my audience may beable to recognise the artist from the musicvideo on my other products

My ancillary products definitely have a

brand style and identification. The

pictures on the advert and digipak are

very similar and created in the same

style. I also think the whole look and

feel of the digipak relates to my music

video. In my music video there is a

sense of style and minimalism

through the use of location and

effects such as black and white. My

actor is also very subtle and doesn't’t

do anything or wear anything that

distracts from the vocals, music and

what the visuals are illustrating or

amplifying, much like my ancillary

products that don’t distract from the

purpose of the products.

The music video is very basic and has quite a minimalistic feel through the use of mese en scene.There is a high amount of light/white colours on the set with bright lighting which sets the mood of the music video as at this point in the narrative my artist is not yet angry.

I think the close up shots of my actor can be linked to my ancillary products as the images on my advert and digipak can easily be recognized ass the artist from my video which fans will recognize.

My promotion package a a whole work

very well and definitely reflects the genre

and appeals to my target audience. My

digipak and advert have a definite

correlation with the house style and brand

identity and the minimalistic style also

promotes the album and artist clearly and

efficiently as the most important

information is presented and content that

is not necessarily needed has not been

added such as hashtags or specific songs

from the album. Although these elements

would have helped promote the album

better, my target audience are unlikely to

need this as they will already have a

knowledge of the artists existing work and

are most likely to use social media without

needing the encouragement from the

advert.

My music video represents the genre of

hip hop and shows my artists

iconography as glamorous, classy,

feminine but also shows her as

powerful, independent and with an

attitude which is what female hip hop

artists are well know for having. My

music video was meant to appeal to

both male and female audiences, which

I think it does but I do believe it will

appeal to more female than male

audiences. My music video will promote

the artist as I have taken a lot of

inspiration and references from other

Nicki Minaj and hip hop music videos

and fan bases will recognize these as

hip hop conventions which will also help

to promote my artist as a rapper.

There aren’t very strong links between

my music video and my ancillary

products in terms of visuals, all of my

products have the same text on them

but that is the only strong visual link

between my music video and my other

products. There are more thematic links,

such as the message to the fans in the

digipak which gives us a sense of the

artists personality which also comes

across in the music video.Her personality is bold, strong

independent and she comes across as

quite feminine. The message to the fans

in my digipak helps to show this and the

images on my advert and digipak may

be recognized as the same face and

expression as in my music video.
