Looking back at your preliminary

task, what would you feel you have

learnt in the progression from it to

the main product?

Looking back at my preliminary task, I feel as though I have learnt such a large amount of new skills. Not only have I learnt new skills on the Macbook and Photoshop, but I have also learnt how to take better photographs and spot what looks good/what needs improving on the front cover of my magazine. This helped me create (what I think is) a better piece compared to my preliminary task. When we started, you can see that my skills were not that advanced as my first attempt was very simple and minimalistic. Whereas now, I feel as though I have used far more aspects of Photoshop in order to make my magazine look slightly more professional.

My contents page has had an improvement since my prelim task as I was able to take the time and effort to think about in depth what needed to be put in, in order for it to look decent.

Overall, I am pleased with the outcome of my piece although there are still some things I would change. However I am more pleased with the skills and confidence I have gained from the whole process.
