What inspired you?The negative attitudes towards the man with aids(didn't want to touch the mans hand)

What inspired you?The voice over shows it is an account of an individuals point of view.Clips at the beginning-shows what the film is going to be about.Flashbacks

We want our audience to gain an understanding of the kind of emotions some people with aids feel and try to reduce the stigma towards the illness

How does your media product represent particular social groups?Represents the stigma towards aids by some people in society.

We researched the symptoms of aids and used some of these to add to our characters look, for example-Nose-bleeds-Blurred vision-Weight loss-Tiredness-Night sweats-Flu-Pale face (for some)

The Main CharacterPale faceNose bleedsWe also researched Aids stigma so we made our character homeless/sleeping on the streets to show people with aids are treated

Music: Relates to characters feelings and makes audience feel emotionalCharacters-We used actual teenagers to do the acting so it looked more realistic and the audience can feel more engaged an can relate to it

What kind of media Institution might distribute your media product and why?

Momentum pictures-Owned by Alliance films which operates in Canada, UK, and Spain-Release different genres and have successful movies such as the kings speech and law abiding citizen.-Founded in London

Lions gate-Also release a range of movies including Precious which is one of our inspirational Films.

Film4-Allows you to distribute films online-British film production company-Also co-produce with other distributing companies e.g Muramac films and Warner Bros

Our finial decision was to distribute film 4

What have you learnt about technologies from the process of constructing this product?

Throughout the project we have learnt so much about the technologies from the process of constructing our opening sequence.It started off with our research and planning, we learnt to embed PowerPoint, uploading images and you tube clips and writing posts for experiences and explanations.Our preliminary was the first time we used the tripod and camera, we were introduced To the imacs and used the imovie programme, here we learnt to edit and convert the preliminary onto QuickTime player where we could upload it and embed to our blogs.For our opening sequence we also used the imovie programme, we had more Better Advanced skills as we learnt how to manipulate sounds and music, using voice recorder and adding effects.

Looking back at your preliminary task, what do you feel youhave learnt in the Progression from it to the full product?

Looking at the preliminary task we felt that we have made a big progression as now We are all very familiar and comfortableWith using the imacs.After the preliminary task we had more time over the weeks to try out some of the effects listed.
