Evaluation Of Creative Process

Evaluation In my evaluation I am going to evaluate the creative process of my pre and post production. I will talk about what went well and what didn’t go so well and if I was supposed to do it again how will I improve it to make it better. First of all I will talk about the pre – production of my creative media process on Unit 30 – Advertisement Production for Television; Firstly I will talk about my first task on my section of the pre – production which was, analyse a Weetabix advertisement because that was our chosen product we would advertise in our advertisement. I did not face many difficulties on this task because it was much related to the Style – Humorous so I knew what to right about and how to analyse this imparticuler advertisement. My second part of my pre – production task was, survey monkey questions so we could see what advertisements people like and from these results we could decide on what to include in our advertisement and what Style, Form or Technique we would make it. In the end we went for a Humorous Style advert, this decision was based off of our questionnaire answers. Again with this task I did not face many difficulties because I have done a fair amount of pre-production in the past so I knew exactly what to do. My third part of my pre-production which we all took part in was the mind map where we would all put down are ideas and then decide which advertisement idea we was going to choose, in the end we ended picking Hemit’s idea because we thought it seemed more Humorous compared to all of the others. We did not face any difficulties in this task because it was very straight forward because all we had to do was put down our idea on what we would think would make a Humorous advertisement. Now finally for my last task in my section of the pre-production that I shared with Hemit is the script based on Hemit’s idea for our advertisement, we didn’t face any difficulties in this task because I knew how to lay out a script and Hemit knew exactly what he wanted the characters to say during the advertisement, so I writ everything down as Hemit said the script for the advertisement that he came up with. In my the conclusion I think my section of the pre-production went very well as I completed it all before dead-line and I also made it to my best possible standard to try and achieve the highest grade. Secondly In will move on to talk about the filming of our advertisement. Now when we went to film we was all determined to get it done in one day so we exactly did that and got all the shots we needed such as a CUS, MS, LS, TS and many more. However we did face some difficulty’s such as, we had people that kept on walking in the shop because at one point we had to keep the shutters open so it gives it more of a natural look so we was kind of disturbed by that,

Secondly In will move on to talk about the filming of our advertisement. Now when we went to film we was all determined to get it done in one day so we exactly did that and got all the shots we needed such as a CUS, MS, LS, TS and many more. However we did face some difficulty’s such as, we had people that kept on walking in the shop because at one point we had to keep the shutters open so it gives it more of a natural look so we was kind of disturbed by that, so on the other hand it did ruin some of the shots. And also we had a short space to film in so at some points it was very hard to manoeuvre at some points during filming; so on the other hand this did also delay us. However at the end of the day we managed to get all of the footage filmed to complete our advertisement for the product Weetabix. After we filmed the advertisement all that was left to do is the editing so we can finalize or maintain our advertisement for a Weetabix product. When editing the video we did not face any difficulties because it only turned out to be a 53 second advert; so on the other hand it did not take long to edit, so this was very efficient when working towards our deadline.
