Evaluation….. I started off the unit by looking at short films and analysing them I

started using the camera to practice. I practised by taking pictures of someone walking

and then I recorded someone walking from a classroom to the gate. After this I started

planning my short film. I then started doing a story board and pre-production

documents. I then had to choose my actors. I picked Layla and Sophie to be my

actresses because they are reliable and good actresses, they are also confident, loud

and good at remembering the script. I had to think of all my locations and all my

options. I went to a quiet English room. I got my actresses to fill out the actress

release. I started filming my short film. Everything went how I wanted it to. I changed

a couple of shots from my story board from when I was actually filming. After

filming I used the software “adobe” to edit it. I dragged all the clip to make the short

film. I then started to cut bits of the shots that were irrelevant. I then added a song for

the introduction and added the names of the actresses so the audience know who they

are. I added a quiet song the whole way through to give it an effect. Overall I think

my short film went as it was planned. I took a lot of time editing it and I am proud of

the short film. If I make a short film again I will take more time to make the shots

look more professional. Hopefully I get better at editing and I will know how to edit

more of the film and I will know how to make the film more professional.
