GOAL We live in world full of computer and Internet technologies -> How to use

these technologies in teaching, that is, our focus is on improving the learning

environment and some technology concepts.

Your presentation about your allocated tool should address the

questions:

What is the tool? And how does it work?

Where are the main websites for using this tool online, and what

are the costs (if any)?

How can the tool be used in educational settings?

Explain usefulness of the tool in educational context

Demonstrate use of tool in educational contexts.

Present orally to peers in an informative, interesting and

You are expected to choose a topic that you currently/would like to teach or have

taught in the past, and create a Moodle (http://download.moodle.org/) Lesson that

incorporates the use of education technology as long as it addresses the

following questions:

What is the scope of the topic and what learning outcomes for students do you

have?

What pedagogic approach will the lesson plan be founded on and how will

demographic and other learning characteristics of the students be

considered?

What learning media and other technology materials will be provided to

students to supplement classroom work to support better learning?

What criteria (rubrics, tests, presentations…) will you use to assess the

performance of students taking the course?

• These social software networks (mySpace, Flickr, SecondLife, Facebook, Twitter)

support millions of participants in the creation of friendship and sharing

networks (social networks). Can these tools be transformed into school spaces?

• The role of the future professor within primary and secondary schools, university

degrees, long-life and elderly courses.

• State-of-the-art of Web 2.0 tools (paper only)

• Web 3.0: Which future?

• By doing all the work behind the computer keyboard and touch screen panels,

how will be the the writing hand skills of next generation? (paper only)

• Solid study related to web-based learning outcomes
