Evaluation

In my project I decided to shoot all of the photographs around school because it had buildings and the features I wanted to utilize in my exhibition. I gained my inspiration from a picture by John Scarpra, the picture is of a building with a white border all around the building and it made me want to do abstract/architectural. In my project I used a cannon 600d and SD card for my pictures and them I use Photoshop on two of the photos. For the first picture I first cut out the white area of the window and created a new layer via cut. Then I added hue and saturation to the background layer, after I added small stars image and changed the blending mode to overlay.

The strengths and weaknesses of my photos.In my first photo is very good because it has a very cool colour and also has a very nice effect because of the overlay. The weaknesses of the photo are that it is a bright colour and I think it would be better if the colour was not as saturated.

The main strengths and weaknesses are: they all are on topic and all show the architectural side of the topic. The photographs gives a good show of what the topic is. The weaknesses are: the photos are quite dim and they don’t have any meaning to themI am very pleased with my exhibition because it draws you in and makes you want to see more. My exhibition has turned out the way I wanted because it daws you in and gives the best

effect. I have improved as a photographer because I have found different methods of creating effects with a camera. If I did it again I would organize my time more.
