Masthead - bold and bright to attract readers
Barcode – a convention all magazines need in order to be sold
Selling line/Button – capital letters to show importance and attract readers, bright bold and in the shape of a heart to appeal to my target audience
Dateline – to inform the readers of which issue it is
Main image – one of the main codes and conventions that attract a reader, my image appeals to my target audience
Main cover line – bright and bold to attract readers/fans
Explanation – explains to the reader what the cover line is about
Supporting images – my target audience prefer images rather than text
