Evaluation 3:What kind of media institution might distribute your media product and why? The genre that I am pursuing is the hip-hop rap genre. As I believe that my magazine will be able to capture people's attention as they are interested in the same artist, fashion and social media outlets. It’s a unique style of magazine as its more personal interviews with the artist and holds back nothing, therefore the audience will want this connection with the artist i will be interviewing. With that I will be charging reasonable price for the weekly magazine, by doing this people would more likely buy my magazine than other magazines in the same genre. My target audience will be coming from the age 16+ as some of the content in my magazine do contain vulgar language, and possible inappropriate pictures from the cover shoot of the artist, this may not be suitable for the younger audience. With this my magazine can be ordered online directly from ibooks on apple, as ecommerce is the future. Other outlets to purchase my magazine is WHSmith, which most magazine are bought. I believe selling magazine on online outlets is very good, as people are usually online will be recognised more.

Buying my magazine weekly is what I prefer as in the hip-hop world there is always something to talk about every week, therefore by selling the magazine every week i will have the hot new topics that is happening in the hip-hop community, and will create hype for people to be expecting my magazine. Other outlets will be our youtube channel of ‘GenNews’ which also help people catch up with the current affairs.
I have decided that IPC will be the one distributing my magazine. They are the world's biggest magazine publishers. As they are very professional they will be able to create the perfect colorway for my magazine cover. The glossy black finish, which is hard to do unless it's coming from a very proffesional magazine publishing company than amature ones. I have connections
from the IPC company with my magazine therefore will have a good working relationship and will be able to publish the weekly issue of Generation Magazine.
