Question 5

After completing my questionnaires I had a variety of information to use in order to complete my magazine. I tried to adhere to my audiences musical tastes and lifestyle choice throughout my magazine which I feel I did well. I tried to follow my audiences tastes on each page that I have created so that they stay interested in my Media Product.

After completing my questionnaire I found that my audience would appeal more to a female model. So for my front cover I decided to use a female model. I used two pictures to match the story in my article. I appealed to my audiences interest in fashion by adding the sell line ‘2015 Fashion Update.’ I added their interest in concerts as in my pug I advertised concert tickets which would attract my audience who regularly attend concerts. I also used ‘Latest News’ in my header as my audience like to be up to date with music news.

Question 5On my Contents Page I tried to appeal to as many different interests of my readers as possible. I included a ‘Top Downloads’ chart which would appeal to my audience as the regularly download singles off line. I also added fashion tips and ideas which would appeal to my readers as they have a huge interest in fashion. I added fashion tips for festivals as my readers regularly attend music festivals so I felt this would intrigue my readers more rather than just regular fashion tips. I also used models of different ages as I felt it would appeal to my age range of 16-25. I also tried to appeal to my readers musical interests as I had a model pose as a DJ and one pose with a guitar to show the different genres covered in my magazine.

Question 5For my article I created an Interview with the artist as I felt my audience would be more interested in an interview, as it was an ‘exclusive’ interview with my artist on my front cover. I added Multimedia platforms to the footer of my page as my audience regularly us technologies to keep up to date so I felt I would be able to reach a wider audience through social networking. I also tried to include questions about my artists personal life which would appeal to my readers as they will make a connection with the artist.

Question 5For the picture page of my article I used an image which would reflect my article. I added the urban background as I felt it would appeal to my target of 16-25. I added a pug which advertised a competition for my reader to win concert tickets. This would appeal to my target audience as the regularly attend concerts so would be interested in the competition. I also added details about the artists latest single which is available for download, again appealing to my readers interests.
