proprietary designs, Vermeer chippers tackle tough

brush-chipping projects.

For maximum performance, brush chippers are available

with the exclusive Vermeer patented SmartFeed system

and AutoFeed II feature. These systems increase

productivity by automatically monitoring and regulatingchipper feed rates so that the machine operates at

peak engine horsepower. These systems are designed

to free the operator from manual feed control activity.

The SmartFeed system is available on the BC1000XL,

Horizontal Grinders

or fifth-wheel mount, depending on the model.

The grinders feature optional length feed tables

and the Thrown Object Restraint System reduces

the quantity and distance of thrown material.

Self-propelled track grinders are highly

maneuverable and are able to work on uneven

job sites and land-clearing projects. All horizontal
