Miguel Cortijo-Antona MSc EU Politics
The European Institute, with its different networking events and professional skills programme, creates the necessary conditions for a successful professional career within the world of politics, public policy institutions and business. I’m very pleased that I took the decision to study at the EI.
Serene HoMSc Global Europe: Culture and Conflict
The EI not only provides academic knowledge, but a wide-range of experiences. I particularly enjoy exchanging ideas with my course mates, and the great diversity of people here makes the conversations mind-stimulating.

Do more at the European Institute
Be a part of a vibrant academic and social community
We offer you opportunities to engage with fellow students and academics outside of the classroom: have lunch with an academic, go on an educational walking tour of London, join us for Café Europa, or attend our student conference in an English countryside manor house.
We help you develop skills to make you more employable in a crowded job market. Choose from a series of workshops including blogging, speech-writing, legislative drafting, lobbying, or policy proposals; or meet with successful EI alumni at our networking lunches.
We want your input and feedback. Come to our termly “town hall” meetings with the Head of Department, join a focus group or be a student representative. There are many ways to contribute to the running of your department.
