Objectives of creating EC4MACS

• Create a group of modelers on climate change and air pollution working even in absence of short term policy requests (e.g. NEC)

• So as to: improve models, their linkages, their databases

• Institutional framework for modelers and Commision Staff to exchange view

• Improve interaction and understanding on how air pollution and climate change policies are linked
