Network of major Cities in Europe (> 250.000 inhabitants)
130 cities (25 % of the EU population)40 partners (IBM, CISCO, …)
Eurocities
The network aims to :
Influencing European legislation and policies for the cities interests
Organize reflexions on the challenges European cities face in the future
Provide a platform to exchange knowledge, good practices and ideas
Foster the development of joint projects, with European funding in particular

data experiences • encouraging other cities to make their data publicly
