Car body engineering liveFrom 16th to 18th october, eurocarbody 2012, the 14th Global car body benchmarking conference, once again offers the most important forum for defi ning and discussing the state of the art in modern series car body engineering. the international elite of automotive car body engineers meets again in bad nauheim to examine the development, performance and production pro-cesses for car bodies of new series models planned for the european market.
In Bad Nauheim, newest series car bodies, representing the current model year, will be explained to the industry specialists in 50-minute presentations given by OEM engineers directly involved in their planning and realisation. Development, material and production concepts of the car bodies will be introduced in detail. Results presented will then be discussed with the speakers directly at the body-in-white. All car bodies thus presented will be available for viewing during the entire conference.
As part of the conference documents, the participants will be provided again with the standardised benchmark data for all car bodies displayed, with standardised tabular information including weights, parts, materials, joining technology and key pro-duction performance fi gures.
Complementing this car body information, as part of the conference, the new car show provides the opportunity to look at the complete vehicle both inside and out and examine the implementation of the car body concept in the full vehicle.
Unique to the EuroCarBody: The OEM Expert Board and the entire international expert audience of the conference decide, with their expert vote, on the winners of this year’s eurocarbody awards, the highest accolade worldwide in car body engineering.

Please note: Substitutions may only be made once per conference participation. Any other changes will be charged with 150 € plus 19 % German VAT.
\\ conFerence LanGuaGeThe conference will be translated simultaneously into English and Ger-man. Please note that the contents of lectures and presentations at si-multaneously interpreted conferences are predominantly composed in the English language.
\\ canceLLationsFees will be refunded in full if notice of cancellation is received by 18 Sep-tember 2012. 50 % of the conference fees will be refunded in case notifi -cation of cancellation is received later, but not later than 2 October 2012. Delegates who fail to attend without notifying the organizer will be liable for the whole conference fees. Substitutions of delegates may be made at any time (please see information for participation). Cancellations and changes should be notifi ed in writing. In all cases postmark shall apply. Any fees to be refunded will be paid after the end of the conference. The organizer reserves the right to change the programme content or to cancel the event due to important reasons. Cancellation fees of third parties that may appear in this context will not be reimbursed.
