Nair, Finance Manager, Euro Coffee says: “With this rapid growth, the company also began to experience some business pains like “Orders received via phone, fax and the Web needed to be translated into disparate systems maintained by each supporting department”, he said. “Often critical information—timing, volume, costs, historical data of customers was lost due to the lack of integration between these processes.” Other problems included: No control on vending machine Refundable deposit from the customer was not getting tracked correctly. Information on non consumption customer on quarterly basis was not available with the current system Because of this, Euro Coffee needed an ERP system that met their current requirement and also supported their rapid business growth plan. Solution Euro Coffee asked Microsoft® Gold Partner CEM Business Solutions, if there was a software package that could provide a single business solution to its diverse commercial needs. “After a thorough evaluation process, Euro Coffee chose Microsoft dynamics GP as the business solution.” We held a series of workshops to establish Euro Coffee’s requirements,” says Pradeep S, Project manager, CEM Business Solutions. “Then we conducted a series of demonstrations on Dynamics GP, which established that the product had the capabilities that Euro Coffee were looking for and could be integrated with their other systems and business flows.” Euro Coffee selected a Microsoft Dynamics GP package with a number of key modules: core financials, Fixed Asset, Sales, Purchase, management reporter, Smartlist and SQL server reporting. “We saw Dynamics GP as the best way to integrate the different aspects of the business and remove some of the manual processing,” says Mr.Sudarsanan S. Nair. “We held pilot sessions with the key users to define the current and future business flows, and modelled various scenarios in Dynamics GP,” says Mr.Sudarsanan S. Nair. “This enabled us to identify how we needed to customize the product to achieve the cost reductions. This also ensured that the product would deliver benefits and cost savings to the customer for the planned expansion.” Microsoft Dynamics GP has given Euro Coffee the ability to grow in exactly the way it wants.
