FINAL ANNOUNCEMENT The European Public Health Association (EUPHA) is a multidisciplinary scientific society. It aims to contribute to the improvement of public health in Europe by offering a means for exchanging information and a platform for debate to researchers, policy makers and practitioners in the field of public health and health services research in Europe. For the latter purpose, two specific opportunities will be created. The congress members will be able tomeet with their national representative in the European Parliamentary Committee for Environment,Public Health and Consumer Policy, during a reception at the European Parliament on Thursday 6 De-cember. On Saturday 8 December, the participants’ active involvement is requested in an interactiveround table discussion on the central theme “From health data collection towards policy making”,with the participation of several health information producers and users, both at national and interna-tional level.

The major themes and other issues will be developed in plenary sessions, parallel sessions, workshopsand poster sessions. The International Scientific Committee received, next to the workshop proposals,291 abstracts from 35 different countries. Among them, the Committee selected 108 oral presentationsfor parallel sessions, together with 100 posters.

GENERAL CONDITIONS OF HOTEL ACCOMMODATION As soon as the hotel reservation form is received, the total invoice together with the confirmation will be returned

by KEYLINE. The invoice has to be paid within 30 days after reception otherwise the reservation will be cancelled.Upon receipt of payment, a voucher and a brochure of the hotel will be sent to the participant.

When reservation occurs less than one month before arrival, payment is only accepted by credit card.CANCELLATION CHARGES

Any cancellation made more then 72 hours prior to arrival will be totally reimbursed less 50 EUR for administrationcharges. No refund will be given for cancellations within 72 hours prior to arrival.
