Evgenia Viktorovna Estes.

• She was born in the 17th of July in 1975 in the city of Yekaterinburg, Sverdlovsk region.

Childhood

Eugenia started her volleyball career in Sverdlovsk (Ekaterinburg) at the age of seven (in 1982).

She took trainers in the famous sports school «Uralochka».

She had an outstanding coach Yu. N. Filimonova, who prepared a large number of players for the national Russian team.

Star

• Evgenia Estes is a famous Soviet and Russian volleyball player.

• She has a master of sports status since 2000

• She is known as the best volleyball player of Europe in 1998.

• She is the only one volleyball player in the world who has participated in six Olympic games.

Progress

• In 1991 Eugenia was admitted by the national team of the USSR. Being at her 16, she became the youngest player of all the time.

• Since 1992 athlete has been a permanent player of the Commonwealth of Independent States team.

• In 2012 she took part in the Olympic games in London for the 6th time!

• During her career of a volleyball player Eugenia got a record number of awards.

My opinion

I’m fond of volleyball too and I admire Eugenia Estes. I ‘m a player in my school team and we have successful results in our town.

I wish I could be as prosperous as Eugenia and will glorify my town and my country..
