Circa quindici ettari di vigneti,di 40 e 60 anni, caratterizzati

da un microclima unico,insolazione dall’alba al tramonto,

escursione termicagiorno-notte ideale,ventilazione leggera,esposizione collinare.

I terreni sono vulcanici, magmosi,equilibratamente calcarei,dall’alta capacità drenante,

che consente al vitignodi accantonare una notevole

quantità di elementi che sarannoalla base della sua

affascinante complessità.

Our vineyards are to be foundin the most highly vocated heartof the Mount Vulture area, herearound the villages of Barileand Ripacandida.Some Fifteen hectares,(thirty-five acres), of vineyardsfrom 40 to 60 years old,featuring a unique microclimatewith exposition to the sun fromdawn to sunset, an idealalternation of temperaturesbetween night and day,moderate ventilation and ahillside location. The soils arevolcanic and magmatic, withgood calcareous balance and ahigh capacity for drainage,allowing the vines to store aremarkable range ofcomponents which provide abasis for the wine’s final andfascinating complexity.

Rosso granato di notevole intensità,

scuro e consistente.

Massa aromatica ricca e seducente

dove si alternano aromi precisi

di ciliegia matura, marasca,

polvere di cacao, tabacco, caffè in grani.

Il rovere sfumato dona eleganza e raffinatezza.

Splendido nella dolcezza e nell’equilibrio,

suadente e affascinante in bocca.

Garnet red and of remarkable intensity,

dark and consistent.

Massively rich and seductive bouquet,

alternating clear aromas of ripe cherry,

marasca, cocoa powder, tobacco and coffee beans.
