Who are the EU citizens?

Any person who is a citizen of a member state of the European Union is also an EU citizen.

Each EU country has different nationality laws.

If you are a multiple citizen and one of your citizenships is European you are an EU citizen as well.

If you lose your citizenship you also lose your EU citizenship.
