Short description:
This project is about books, reading and cooperative work. Its main purpose is to connect students and teachers from different countries while carrying out the same activity.
Goals: - to develop students' reading, writing and thinking abilities- to communicate with peers using foreign languages, develop their social abilities- to learn about and use cooperative working skills- to improve the students' foreign language and social competences- to use ICT tools, twinspace, forums, blogs, emails and Powerpoint - flash presentations- to develop Self-Management skills (Participation, Sharing, Cooperation and Teamwork) - to improve the students' Information Technology and multi media skills which will empower them for an efficient, effective and innovative communication

Pedagogical basis:
The students will be able to:- read and prove they understood what they've been reading- create images for the texts they have been reading
- choose suitable music for an excerpt from a book- to create a new story based on images created by them and their chosen music- work in a team- use ICT and English to communicate with partner students.

Task description/tools to be used:Organizing working teams in our school. Optional - involve more teacher from our school in children's activity for help them with suggestions, ideas, materials etc. Making a list of tasks to be fulfilled, as well as the schedule for the project. Preparing the activities for the READING DAY Brainstorming for new children's ideasIntroducing ourselves. Power Point presentations, photos, chat, e-mail. Presenting the activities done for April 22.

2 Setting the Rules (Decalogue) of reading and Signing of the contract t Writing the list of readings (each partner chooses a book and recommends it to the other partners, who have to read it and give their critical interpretations a The students compile a list of books that they suggest reading in the future

Reading and rewriting a story with a different conclusion based on images created by them and their chosen music, in the form of dialogues, shifting the narrators or a new short story and redrawing new images that illustrate the contents

Editing a newspaper online/a blog focused on book interpretation, reading activities and creative writing.
