Beyond EducationSchool Hols at NSS

Once again NSS was the place to be for school holidays. ETI programs ranged from

“come and try” where students new and old had the opportunity to try something new. Drum Jam was on offer and ETI again was in the studios. Don’t let your

school holidays go by without experiencing the ETI difference.

ETI can also run programs for OSHC and

YMCAs. If your local community or school would like to host ETI during the school holidays please give ETI a call on

1800 384 583.

AT ETI WE GO BEYOND MUSIC EDUCATION TO OFFER UNIQUE OPPORTUNITIES TO HELP YOU

CREATE YOUR DREAM!

Jacob Star of the PINK ShowWhen an international rockstar offers you an opportunity you take it. That was the lesson Jacob taught us the other night

when he got up and played at the Pink Band Clinic. For his effort he got a limited edition Mark Schulman signature snare.

Well done Jacob!

On the RadioMake sure that you keep an eye on the facebook page for details of ETI_Radio.

ETI’s awesome students did us proud on 17 July by performing live on radio. Megan, Corey and Mel T sang, played and

interviewed well. Having an opportunity to promote local music is inspiring. Thanks to PBAFM for supporting ETI and local young talent.

ASPIRE TO INSPIRE!!

ETI_STUDENT PROFILE, ELLIS

SURIDGE

Ellis has been with ETI before ETI was ETI! He’s one of the original members of the crew.

Ellis has continued to grow and develop and doesn’t fail to give it his best.

A regular ETI volunteer, Ellis can regularly be seen assisting at ETI events as a roady, a drum tech, a sound and lights tech and anything else that he can help with.

ETI_EDUCATOR PROFILE, MEAGAN

COLLIAR

Meagan joined ETI last year after a stellar performance at the ETI Girls Only Band Jam. Meagan is an accomplished singer and has been working in bands for years. From Fizzy Pop to Animal House of recent years. A regular on the Adelaide band scene she can also been seen stepping in to the front spot for Mr Buzzy.

Belting out a big tune or two from Tina Turner or Christina Aguilera is just an

Ellis’s parents have been fantastic supports of Ellis and ETI and continue to be seen at ETI events. Ellis has become an accomplished drummer. Terapai Richmond (Guy Sebastian, DIG, Whitlams) is his biggest influence and he can regularly be seen wandering with sticks in hand like a good drummer should.Ellis is ready to take his drumming to the next level and is on the hunt for a band to support his talent. A little known fact is Ellis’s dad is responsible for the artwork that can be found on our CEO and Founder.

She has quickly become an integral part of ETI educating many students one on one and also leading our “GangStars” to acapella stardom.

With a fun and enjoyable personality Meagan quickly engages her students. She puts her heart and soul into educating her ‘kids’. As a self confessed ‘Mamma Bear’ she has been known to tear up over her ‘cubs’ when they are performing.

“Meagan’s voice and ability to engage the students is inspiring. She has the ETI Difference.”Pete Barter, CEO/Founder

“He’s turned into quite the groover!” Pete Barter, CEO/Founder

A great night was had by all. After Corey warmed up the crowd, Mel T performed with Zoe on drums. Twig

our resident rapper introduced us to the new ETI theme song (sensational doesn’t cut it!), Rohan Watts the voice of ETI and MC kept the night moving

along nicely. Londyn was a treat with her performance. A host of drummers showed us their stuff - Jy, Lachy, Angus,

Brandon and James kept the beat while the ETI house band jammed. The Barter Boys rocked it (Pete and his 6 yr

son Jaxson) drum war style.

How good were the GangStars? Pitch Perfect performances including the cup song had the crowd tapping and singing

along.

After a quick ukelele jam the ETI Educators showed their stuff with Ellis

on drums, Rohan belted out an impromptu ‘April Sun in Cuba’ for the appreciative crowd.

Lachy got up next to show us that drummers can entertain without needing a band - electronic drums,

lazers, smoke...pure entertainment. Speaking of entertainment, Brandon, my goodness what a star! Fully choreographed by the talented

drummer, on his decorated kit with strobe lights going, he certainly gave the crowd something to cheer for.

Michael, Sam, Jasmine, and Jess, all gave show stopping performances.

Jacob fresh from his performance with

Pink’s band wow’d his audience.

Megan’s performance of Skyfall was a tear jerker - what a voice!

Mel T and Meagan rounded off the night

and were joined by “Absolutely Everybody” for the finale.

I hope you didn’t miss this amazing

event. Well done to all the performers and hope to see you at Xmas!!!

Student Concert YEAH!!!

Lachy - let him entertain you!!!!

The quality of the

entertainment at the

student concert was

outstanding.

Brandon showed his flair for the dramatic - wow!!!

The GangStars showed us what Acapella really means!

Jasmine showed us her dance moves and rocked it!
