CONFLICT• Conflict resolution is where the gospel of Jesus Christ demonstrates its power and ability. • Jesus Christ came to resolve the CONFLICT between MAN and GOD(Col. 1:19-22)..

CONFLICT•1) If Jesus Christ can make such restitution for our sin in order that we might be changed into sin-less-ness before a HOLY GOD, then is it possible for Jesus to make restitution between individuals in the Church?

CONFLICT •1) It must be a sin as defined by the Bible and not an annoyance. •2) Confidentiality in conflict is critical. Work to keep it between the two and not on Facebook or Twitter!!!!!


CONFLICT •3) When you cannot work it out between you, there must be two or three witnesses that agree with the sin offence that you bring with you (not who agree with you but with the sin offence).


CONFLICT •4) When the conflict cannot be resolved with witnesses, TELL THE CHURCH.• If there is sin that is propagating between those in the congregation and the offender refuses correction, it must be made public.


CONFLICT • The authority and attitudes of sin must be defined by God’s Church not by the secular laws of the land or the kings.• Matthew 18 was spoken by Jesus in the midst of the Roman empire.


CONFLICT •5) If after public exposure among the Church there is no change, then that offender is to be understood and treated as if they are not born-again.


CONFLICT •6) The full authority to define sin comes from the careful agreement upon interpretation of the Bible by two or three gathered in the name of JESUS CHRIST.

AUTHORITY •1) The authorities we live under MAY NOT DESERVE our honor and respect, but we are required to give it because of the commands of Christ. We are to be the examples modeling honor.


AUTHORITY •2) God has placed every soul in its time and country, city and community for a reason and for a season (Acts 17:26-27). •3) We are not to propagate or broker the spirit of REBELLION!


AUTHORITY •4) Treat the governmental authorities like you would like to be treated if you were in leadership. •5) Pay your taxes. And do not steal from the government.

MARRIAGE • LOVING-KINDNESS – “CHE-SED” meaning “a good sense and zeal for goodness, kindness and well-being of the person it is directed to.


MARRIAGE • JUDGEMENT –“MISH-POT” meaning “an assessment of what is right and wrong between two individuals and performing judgment upon the wrong and releasing the right.


MARRIAGE • RIGHTEOUSNESS – “SED-AU-KA” meaning “standing truthful and right before the HOLY GOD.”


MARRIAGE •1) God loves and wants us to have a ZEAL to be kind and develop goodness between our relationships.


MARRIAGE •2) God loves and wants us to have a keen sense of right and wrong, expunging the wrong and celebrating the RIGHT in our relationships.


MARRIAGE •3) God loves and wants us to have an ability to stand before each other and God in truth and faithfulness in all our relationships – the most important, marriage.


MARRIAGE • Marriage is in deep trouble because North American culture has rejected it as a sacred institution. Society today sees marriage as a breakable business union.


MARRIAGE • In 1837, 1 in 37 marriages ended in divorce in North America. • In 2012, 1 in 10 marriages ended in divorce. • Divorce has increased over 150% in less than 100 years.


MARRIAGE • The divorce rates in North America have declined since 2008 because less people are getting married. They simply do not trust marriage. 41% of marriages will end before their 30th anniversary.


MARRIAGE • Of those who are divorced, 75% end up marrying again or having live-in partners who are sexually active. • 85% of these arrangements will fail.


MARRIAGE • Kids are the most affected by divorce. • Medical doctors and Psychologists report that the most stressful event in a person’s life is not the death of a loved one or financial bankruptcy but divorce.


MARRIAGE • Extreme stress is the leading contributor to physical sickness and disease. • Cancer rates have risen over the past 50 years and are close, or in some cases, match divorce rates.

at all.

arrangements.


MARRIAGE •6) Sexual activity should always and ONLY be practiced inside the SACRED MARRIAGE COVENANT. Sex is God’s idea and if practiced outside the marriage covenant is MOCKING GOD’s plan and

WORD.


MARRIAGE •7) Pastors and Ministers should marry under the authority of GOD’S WORD and never, ever depend upon ANY of man’s associations or enterprises to bring authority to the

marriage.
