Introducing Electra:The clean, quiet, takeoff-from-anywhere future

No runway needed. Quiet. Sustainable.

Unique Technology Enables Rooftop Takeoffs and Long RangesHybrid Distributed Electric Propulsion (DEP) with Blown Lift

Distributed electric propulsion with blown lift offers 2.5x more payload than eVTOL with similar rooftop footprint

Batteries provide power to electric motors for energy-efficient cruise and super quiet takeoffs

Turbogenerator for useful range and infrastructure-free battery charging

Blown lift allows very low-speed, rooftop takeoffs (100-ft)

DEP Makes Blown Lift Practical Again

5

Blown Lift STOL Requires:

1. Augmentation of lift over large portions of the wing

2. Effective deflection of the propulsive jet

3. Powered low-speed control

THEN (1960-70s):

Promising, but never reached production due to cost and complexity arising from few, large turbine engines

NOW:

Electric motor-driven propellers enable efficient spanwise jet deflection, robust control, and low maintenance costs with a mechanically simple system
