Mathieu 2016-2017

In addition to the StoryTown resources we will use interactive notebooks trade books, poetry and other resources. We will do some cross curricular activities.

We are using Loyola Press Voyages in English. Here is the link for the website with information and some student interactive:

http://www.loyolapress.com/voyages-in-english-writing-and-grammar-program.htm?class_id=535&parent_class_id=570

Students will complete some book reports or products based on books. Information will be given at the time of the assignment.

Students will be able to access the StoryTown literature, paired selections, and leveled readers electronically through the website: http://www.thinkcentral.com/index.htm using their username and password.

This is the link for the Common Core State Standards for English and Language Arts: http://www.corestandards.org/ELA-Literacy

I look forward to working with your children and opening new worlds by delving into books.
