Overview This popular course will follow the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s rigorous standardized course and text in the fundamental principles of critical care. This comprehensive course is designed to prepare non-intensivists to deliver the first 24 hours of care for the critically ill or injured patient.
Learning ObjectivesAt the completion of the course, learners will be able to:• Prioritize assessment needs for the critically ill patient • Select appropriate diagnostic tests • Identify and respond to significant changes in the unstable patient • Recognize and initiate management of acute life-threatening conditions • Determine the need for expert consultation and/or patient transfer and prepare the practitioner
for optimally accomplishing transfer

Participation is limited to 26 registrants! We invite you to register early. All registrations will be confirmed with a letter, textbook and pre-test sent to the address provided on your registration form.
Cancelation policy: A fee of $100 will be retained from your payment if cancelation occurs more than 4 weeks prior to the course. If cancelation occurs 2-4 weeks prior to the course, half the registration fee will be retained. No refund will be issued if cancelation occurs less than 2 weeks prior to the course.
