It is a technique of fast reading where it is used to locate the

general sense of reading or some part of it. This technique you

now long and gives you a very general idea of what is the text or

paragraph.

It consists of a cursory reading, identifying ideas or key phrases; you don't need to read every word of the text. Reads the first sentence of each paragraph, and aims to identify the phrases or key words for each of them. At the end removed and are recorded in order to discover the general idea of the text.
