One month down, eleven to go! But before we rush this year any further, let’s have fun at all we have planned this month!

Our first Signature Event of the year is this month! “Light Up The Night” will allow you to let loose and go with the “glow.”

Who’s excited for the first of many Super Bowl parties at the Amenity Center?! What’s better than enjoying the biggest night in football with friendly neighbors, great food, and a 90” television? Please sign up in a timely manner to allow residents to plan their dishes accordingly.

Taking care of business is always a great idea early on in the new year. By business, I mean your health and wellness goals along with regular check ups. This month we will be hosting a Health and Wellness fair right here at the Amenity Center. I encourage everyone to come check it out! Local businesses will be offering complimentary health screenings and giveaways. With Valentine’s Day around the corner, we’ve arranged a great 3-course luncheon at Lamoraga for a fantastic value with exceptional quality. This is one of my personal favorites, so I hope to see a great turnout! The holidays have come and gone and season is upon us. Please be mindful of the local traffic that will significantly increase during the next couple months. Leave the house earlier than usual to make it anywhere on time and don’t forget to make reservations wherever you can. Drive safe!

A Message From Your C.A.M.

Dear Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes Residents, I hope everyone is enjoying the cooler weather we have had lately. It’s great to see many of you utilizing the Pickleball and Bocce courts. A friendly game is always good fun! The lakes are very low this time of year due to the dry conditions we have had. This is a normal process as all the lakes are integrated into a natural draining process controlled by gravity to filter the water retention and runoff areas that will eventually make it to the ocean. If you have any lake questions or concerns, please feel free to reach out to me. Construction is picking up their pace and it is great to see how well the community is growing. I am grateful to be a part of this great community you are all creating and I am excited to see how far we can go this year! A: We like living in a smaller community. The

Amenity Center has various programs of my interest

like fitness, cooking, dinner shows, games, and other

social events. Q: What Lifestyle programs are you most interested

in? Also, tell us your hobbies.

A: I love to travel and acquire a taste of different

culture. We both love movie nights or just watching

The Hallmark Movies & Mysteries romantic movies.

I am a fan of Johanna Basford's coloring books.

Sometimes, I dig in my yarns to crochet or knit.

given?

A: Be happy and follow your heart.

A: We spent 5 years

full-time traveling

A: Tom is a certified accountant. He works for a

company that manufactures hospital supplies. I am

retired but I used to work for a pharmaceutical

company.

A: We're looking forward to join you in some social

A: I love to do head butts from my perch on the back of the sofa.

Q: Tell us about the time your humans welcomed you into their loving home:

A: I lived the first year of my life with other cats at Publix off 951 and Immokalee.

When our feeder stopped feeding me and my fellow kitties, we were left hungry

and confused. The rest of us dispersed while me and my small black kitten

companion were picked up. The other kitty had to be trapped but I was able to be picked right up because

I’m friendly! The other kitten was adopted and I’m living the life at Esplanade at Hacienda Lakes.
