Library • The library@esplanade, Singapore's first performing arts library,

was officially opened on 12 September 2002 by Mr Khaw Boon Wan, then Senior Minister of State for Transport and Information, Communication and the Arts.

• A one-stop resource library for the performing arts, library@esplanade also offers information and services in the areas of music, dance, theatre and film. The library's location on the third level of The Esplanade, Theatres on the Bay is unique within Singapore, and makes it one of the few libraries in the world to be co-located within a performing arts complex. It spans an area of 2,300 square metres.

Getting to Esplanade• Taxi• The taxi stand is located at the Esplanade Mall entrance along Raffles Avenue.• Bus• The Esplanade is easily accessible via public buses.

• Bus numbers: 36, 56, 70M, 97, 111, 133, 162M, 195, 502, 531, 1N, 2N, 3N, 4N, 5N, 6N, 75, 77, 106, 700A, 857, 960, 961, NR1, NR2, NR5, NR6, NR7, NR8.

• The nearest bus stop is also located along Raffles Avenue, outside the Esplanade Mall entrance.

Tour• Tour Information• Duration: 45 minutes• Walk-ins are welcome on a first-come-first-served basis. Meet at the Concert Hall

Information Counter (Concourse, Level 1) before the tour starts at the following times:

• Tuesdays to Fridays: 9am, 12.30pm and 2pm• Saturdays & Sundays: 9am only• Group Bookings should be made at least 14 days in advance. A minimum of 20

persons is required for a group tour. To make a booking, please email [email protected] or call 6828 8377. Tours are available during the following times:

• Tuesdays to Fridays: From 9.30am to 4.30pm• Price• Adults: $10• Students (4 years old and above): $8
