    SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHILE WORKING WITH ESP

    *Run the ID fan for 30 minutes with full caacity and

    oen ID fan inlet dumer !efore entering ESP to clean

    the dirty air inside ESP and inlet duct. The fan should

    !e run continuously till "isually there is no emission

    through stack

    Electrical +a,ards.

    *Tr set connection to !e remo"ed from ESP field to

    a"oid electrical ha,ard and ESP field to !e grounded

    through +T grounding switch and orta!le grounding

    stick.

    To ESP should !e switched off and roer clearance to

    !e taken from cometent authority !efore entering into

    ESP. Prior to starting of $D test ID 1an and 1D fan to

    !e started with full damer closed condition and after

    getting necessary clearance from authorised erson

    carrying the $D test. The corresonding damers to !e

    oened to desired le"el as er the re-uirement gi"en

    from time to time !y the authorised erson carrying out

    the $D test. Proer co ordination to !e esta!lished

    through walkietalkie.

    Proer communication to !e maintained !etween the

    ersonnel inside ESP carrying out $D test and the

    ersonnel engaged in controlling the running of ID4 1Dfans and their corresonding damers. Person should

    !e osted near the local emergency sto P5 of !oth the

    fans and he should !e resonsi!le to switch off the fans

    in case of emergency.

    Resonsi!le erson should also !e osted outside the

    resecti"e door of the ESP where the $D test is !eing

    carried out so that the ESP door is oened on intimation

    from the eole working inside ESP. +owe"er4 roer

    care is to !e taken to close the fan damers !efore

    oening the doors.

    'fter comletion of oen ckt test resonsi!le

    erson should roerly ground TR set through

    grounding stick.

    5efore earthing the TR set after oen circuit test

    ensure that the TR anel is switched off and

    roer clearance is taken from the cometent

    authority. 'fter grounding the TR set for carrying out the

    short circuit test4 the TR anel is to !e charged

    after getting roer clearance from the

    ersonnel working in the fieldTR set.

    'fter carrying out the short circuit test the

    grounding from the TR set is to !e remo"ed

    after switching off the TR anel and getting

    roer clearance.
