DINNER PRESENTATION

Counter Intuitive Communication

Presented by: Daniel Midson-Short

We live in a new era of asynchronous, self-absorbed communica-tors. Texng and video messaging has taken precedence over face-to-face communicaon.

This has both benefits and drawbacks. As business professionals we can use technology and modern communicaon to our advantage. But we must understand it, and embrace the changes.

By aending this clinic presentaon, you will get…

♦ What people really want to know before they’ll work foryou, follow you and listen to you

♦ How ‘connuous paral aenon’ has become the new commodity

♦ Why asynchronous communicaon has become key to geng through

♦ How a culture of narcissism works for us, or against us

♦ How to use ‘Ambient Awareness’ to you advantage

♦ Why social technology is a friend and not an enemy (aguide to the current plaorms)

♦ How having an open agenda is a secret of influence in the modern era

Our speaker: Daniel Midson-Short

Daniel Midson-Short is an Inspiraonal Speaker and Writer, Communicaon Trainer and Three-Time District Toast-master Champion Speaker. He has spo-ken to audiences in Australia, the Unit-ed States, the United Kingdom and Asia.

Originally from Sydney, Australia, Danielwas the youngest qualified professional execuve coach in Australia at age 24.

He coached with over 500 people fromall around the world. He has spent over

15 years working with business owners, execuves, medical profes-sionals and entrepreneurs to enhance their focus, communicaon skills and sense of fulfillment.

By aending this clinic presentaon, you will …

♦ Openly discuss the pros and cons to implemenng a new system
