This charming park is located in old, historic, downtown Pecos. In the park you will find a replica of Judge Roy Bean’s Courthouse and Saloon. Judge Roy Bean ruled with a high-handed, but appropriate brand of homespun justice. He was “Law West of the Pecos” which included Pecos. Next to the replica there is a copy of an old time jail and the Mesquite House, the oldest known house in
Pecos. The grave of a notorious gunfighter, Clay Allison, is also in the park. With a fountain and desert landscape, this beautiful park will be a special treat to all visitors. It is conveniently located next to the West of the Pecos Museum.
