For interstate agents, upon arrival in Sydney you will be met by our AAT Kings Representative and then transferred to the Grace Hotel, Sydney. For NSW agents, check in to the hotel after 2pm and enjoy some relaxing free time. Tonight we enjoy a Welcome dinner at Nick’s Seafood Bar and Grill in fashionable Darling Harbour.

FRIDAY 31 MARCH

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel this morning before being transferred by coach to The Rocks in preparation for your BridgeClimb experience. We have scheduled group times but the short wait will be well rewarded with magnificent unrestricted views over Sydney Harbour and the Sydney skyline.

As the adrenalin subsides we will take a leisurely walk to Circular Quay for our lunch cruise on Sydney Harbour. We will board Captain Cooks’ luxurious Sydney 2000 to cruise around the harbour and enjoy a sumptuous seafood buffet lunch. After the cruise there will be time to freshen up at the hotel ready for our evening farewell event.

Tonight we transfer to Tobruk Sydney, an authentic sheep station just over an hour from the CBD for some fun and entertainment as we farewell you before you depart on the next leg of the Great Escape.

SATURDAY 01 APRIL

This morning we will transfer you to Sydney International Airport for your flight. Pick up times will be advised. Enjoy the remainder of the TTC Great Escape and safe travels from the whole AAT Kings Team.

SUNDAY 02 APRIL

Arrive Zurich - Lucerne

Welcome to Switzerland, a land of snow-capped summits and romantic lakes that has attracted poets, musicians and travellers over the years. After being greeted by your Tour Director at Zurich Airport, your private group coach transfer departs to your hotel in Lucerne. You are invited to a round trip Lake Lucerne cruise and an orientation tour with your Tour Director. Later, enjoy a pleasant evening of dinner and wine.

MONDAY 03 APRIL

Lucerne

In the morning, travel to a typical rural community where you will meet local farmers for a delightful horse-drawn ride. Clip-clop your way through bright green pasture, where the angular spire of a traditional white church shoots skyward and rickety old wooden storehouses still dot the landscape. Call in at a local farm where a wonderful spread of homemade drinks and snacks is served. Later, we head to the town of Stans, where we embark on a remarkable journey by funicular railway and open-top cable car to the summit of the stunning Stanserhorn. Tonight choose from a selection of local restaurants for your Dine-Around.

TUESDAY 04 APRIL

Lucerne - Bern - Montreux

With a Local Expert in Berne, see the Bear Pits, Cathedral of St. Vincent, Federal Palace and floral displays. Gather at the clock tower to watch the mechanical procession of painted figures before viewing the Ogre Fountain. Continue to Montreux on the Lake Geneva shoreline, where your quayside hotel awaits. Dinner at local restaurant.

Montreux - Chillon - Broc - Monterux

Move on to the great arc of Lake Geneva, where a Local Expert will show you the medieval Chillon Castle, former home to the Counts of Savoy, immortalised by Byron’s ‘Prisoner of Chillon’. Visit the Maison Cailler Chocolaterie before coming back to your hotel. Enjoy the dinner in a local restaurant.

Head towards French Alps. A scenic symphony awaits you as you ascend into the high Alps and climb towards Mont Blanc, Western Europe’s highest mountain. Your destination is the fashionable ski resort of Chamonix.

Chamonix - Annecy - Chamonix

Spend a day at leisure to relax and enjoy Chamonix. Alternatively you can join us for an included optional excursion to a beautiful lakeside town of Annecy. Enjoy free time for lunch in the Little Venice area or perhaps take a boat trip? Later return to Chamonix. Dinner at local restaurant.

Come back to Switzerland and follow the shores of the lake to the international city of Geneva and start a walking tour with your Tour Director seeing the Jet D’Eau, Floral Clock and Reformation Monument. Rest of the day is yours to explore the city. At night, sample typical Swiss cuisine with wine at a farewell Celebration Dinner.
