Duties included calendaring, reception, legal research, witness examination, IT, travel and event coordination. Functioned as Executive Assistant, spearheading media campaign for Green Patriot Posters exhibit at Big City Forum. Mainly responsible for drafting correspondence with contributors such as Shepard Fairey, select members of the media, and composing press releases for the event. Vital in logistical facilitation on the day of the exhibit. Independent contractor for branding and graphic design start-up firm. Acting as founder and sole creative: assembling branding packages and consulting on marketing strategies for numerous private entities. Worked closely with SPEC Fling Coordinator to brand and market campus-wide events sometimes open to Philadelphia residents. Designed marketing campaign for a University event with budget of over 300K: including all marketing material: logo, graphic content for web, event spaces, and merchandise. Worked collaboratively with other staff members to produce issues one of Penn’s only student-run magazines. Aided with logistics and communications between Web, Photo, Editorial, Business and Layout staff and assisted in marketing and promoting local sponsors in print ads. Acted as Layout Contributor: worked to create eye-catching visual displays and varying graphic and typographic elements for print media. Collaborated with design team in order to create cohesive overall aesthetic and achieve increase consumption through visuals. Contributed extensively and was recognized on masthead. An international organization with college and alumnae chapters throughout the United States. Theta provides growth and opportunities for young women that promote academic excellence and the widest influence for good, namely with charities such as CASA and the Kappa Alpha Theta Foundation.
