Situation1: Two friends have a difficult science assignment to work on. Look at the picture

stimulus and suggest which would be the best place for them to do the assignment. Situation 2: A group of friends have decided to spend a weekend visiting an outdoor sports

centre. Based on the picture stimulus, suggest some of the activities that they can do.

Situation 3: A boy wants to get a birthday present for his friend who likes dancing. Talk about the different presents he could get and say which would be best.

Situation 4: A sports club is giving members of its swimming team a new bag. There is a picture

of a bag. Ask the students to talk about the different pictures the team could have on their bags and say which will be best.

Situation 5: An English teacher wants all her students to read the same book in English. Talk

together about the types of book the students could read and say which would be most popular with all the students.
