Pass outs: are welcome to come and go from the Festival on theday of paid entry. Please ask for apass out stampfrom our stafflocated at the exit.Please note thatre-entry to theFestival cannot be guaranteed shouldthe site be deemedat capacity.

Responsible Service of Alcohol: As an event for allages, the Ergon Energy Flower, Food& Wine Festivalis committed to

the responsible service of alcohol. To facilitate this, patrons cannot bring alcohol into the Festivalprecinct. All bags, containers, eskies,prams and baskets are subject to a full search at entry andpatrons found to be bringing alcohol orrestricted items tothe Festival will beasked to disposeof these items andmay be refused entry. If you are over 18 years ofage and wish topurchase or sample alcohol, you may need to produceID in the form of a

Passport, Driver’sLicense or an 18+Card. Upon entry to the Festival, you may be issued with a wristband toidentify that you are permitted to drink alcohol at the event. Anyone found to be supplying or buyingalcohol for a minorwill be evicted from the Festival and will possibly facecriminal charges.The sale of alcohol will cease at 10pm.

Smoking

The Festival isa smoking free environment.Smoking is only permitted in

the designatedoutdoor smoking area clearly signedwithin the Festival. Please note theconsumption offood and drink is not permitted inthis area.

ATM: There are two ATMs located within the Festival.

Taxi: There are 3taxi ranks close by:near the cornerof Margaret andLindsay Street; onMargaret Street and a disabled taxi rank is locatedalong LindsayStreet. Garden CityCabs 13 32 22.

FLORAL DESIGN

Welcome Wona Bae

Award-winning sculptorand Master Floral DesignerWona Bae is our special guest in 2014. She is based in Melbourne and has exhibited internationally.An interest in the cyclesof nature informs Wona’ssculpture. Simplicity andharmony are her key ideals as she explores a broad palette of natural materialsfrom native dry woods totropical vine leaves and redefines the perception of each substance in newand stimulating forms, with true ability to visually articulate the beauty in organic materials.

Wona’s exhibited design, Common Ground, ismade out of cork elm andthree different colouredsucculents. The organic webformed around the tree represents the traditionaluse of spaces: communitymeeting places where people come together toshare ideas and shelter.

Everyone’s favouriteWiggle friend, Dorothy theDinosaur will be performing a LIVE SHOW on the Main Stage on Saturday

at 11:30am. Kids, Dorothy just loves roses, so why not bring along a beautiful Toowoomba rose for her, or perhaps a drawing ofone? You can also makeone from scratch at the Kath Dickson marquee.

Culture to Couture continues to reveal promising fashion design talent.

Under the guidance of award-winning designer and stylist, Carolyn Taylor-Smith, budding designers have the opportunity to translate regional inspirations into high-end fashion, and ultimately enjoy the thrill of seeing their creations come to life as they are modelled throughout the festival.

Spectators will likewise be delighted as they join the designers’ journey from the initial concept stages through to stunning completion.

Culture to Couture is a celebration of the culture, agriculture and horticulture of our bountiful region as expressed through beautiful natural fabrics and inspired design. A must-see for every fashionista!
