Erasmus + KA2 “Say no to Indifference”, third meeting in Bari-Italy From the 9 th to14th May, our Institute I.I.S.S. “Majorana” hosted the third Italian meeting of the Erasmus+ project “Say No to Indifference”. Teachers and students from Poland, Germany, Finland, Estonia, Slovakia, Turkey met to carry out the tasks planned for the meeting. Our Principal Mrs Paola Petruzzelli , the school staff and students welcomed our partners with national anthems and the exchange of flags. The special guests of this event were the refugees and the asylum seekers from the C.A.R.A. hospitality camp in Bari-Palese. They shared with us their painful experiences and answered our students’ questions. The week was full of lot of different activities: the visit of the SPRAR in Valenzano where refugees integrated in our society live, the 5-a –side football competition sponsored by our Municipality, the historical parade in old town Bari, some labs with refugees to create posters and a final movie on the topic of the project. On the last day, our school organized a workshop in the aula magna of our University where the movie produced by our students was showed to the audience and followed by a debate involving the local authorities. During the week, we also organized some visits to the most picturesque places of our region like: Polignano, Alberobello and Martina Franca. Written by prof.ssa Agrusti and prof.ssa Ladisa
