Beginning with the selection processthe students are continuously in touchwith the faculty. This facilitates them todevelop a great deal of confidence andself –belief. The student can study anycombination of subjects, since businesscannot be very strictly compartmentalised. This is unique to EBS and stems fromthe belief that there should be enoughscope for students to add to their domainawareness. The concept of BEYONDTHE CLASS ROOM is unique andfacilitates students to participate in variousactivities such, as CSR, various clubs andcommittees etc.
Extensive use of technology andspecial ly designed developmentalactivities to eliminate short comings andreinforce the strength areas, make studentsof EBS better employable, which isevident from the placements.
Q4: How are the opportunitiesavailable from an Industry-anchoredBusiness School different from aUniversity anchored Business School?
Industry anchored Business Schoolsare certainly different in terms ofopportunities available to them incomparison to the University Businessschool. Beginning with curriculum, theyhave the flexibility to design contemporaryand most desirable inputs. In the case ofthe University Business Schools, anychange in the curriculum is timeconsuming and long drawn.
Tie up/ linkages with Foreign Schoolsare easier for Private B schools.
Hiring of industry based expert facultyfor short duration courses is easier forthese B-Schools due to strong industryinterface. Flexibility of Internship andfinal joining dates is available to PrivateB-Schools, where as it is a challenge forthe University B-Schools.
