RECRUITMENT OF ENGINEERING PROFESSIONALS ON PART TIME BASIS

BHEL, BAP, Ranipet has wide experience and capability to provide wide range of AQCS solutions, Water treatment Solution which comprise of Air Pre- Heater (APH), Electro Static Precipitator(ESP), Fabric filters (FF), Fans, Flue Gas Desulphurization (FGD), Gates & Dampers to suit the upcoming and existing plants irrespective of their size.

BHEL invites applications from willing, qualified & experienced engineers (Indian Nationals only) retired from PSUs/ Autonomous Organisations/Central/State Government/ Members of National Level Professional Institutions or any other organisations including private sector for Field Engineering Services and PG Tests at various sites under BAP, Ranipet, on part time per diem basis as and when required. The sanctioned vacancies are for BAP, Ranlpet.

Position & Upper Age Limit: (As on 01.11.2019)

Retired officials from PSUs/ Autonomous Organisations/Central/State Government/ Members of National Level Professional Institutions or any other organisations including private sector and not more than 63 years as on (first day of month in which advt. Is issued).

*In case of persons retired under VRS scheme will be considered only after they attain 60 years of age.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1 . The Consultant is expected to provide timely professional advice /assistance/consultation in

his/her area/discipline of engagement, verifiable in the form of reports or successful field

operations. 2. The deliverables on the assignment would be specified by the concerned functions with

timeline/milestones.

Note: The responsibilities indicated above are illustrative and not exhaustive and additional

related responsibility may be assigned as per requirement at site.

Duration of Engagement

A panel of consultants as per vacancies notified above shall be selected for engagement on part time per diem basis for Field Services/PG Tests. The panel shall be valid for a period of one

year. The part time engagement shall be for a maximum of 180 days during the term of 12

months and not more than 20 days in a month.

Mode of Selection: Applications received against the advertisement will be scrutinized by a Committee and based

on the Committee's recommendations, the list of eligible candidates shall be prepared for further

selection. The eligible candidates shall be called for an interaction, if required.

Out-station candidate called for interaction shall be reimbursed the travel expenses as given

below:

BHEL Equivalent Grade of By Rail: AC- II Sleeper

Retirement - E1 to E3 By Road: Actuals limited to BHEL Equivalent Grade of By Air: Economy Class Train Fare.

Retirement - E4 to E6A By Rail: AC- First Class

Medlcal Standards: Applicants shall undergo medical examination by the company's Medical Officer prior to

engagement.
