Cannon 550D

For my photo-shoot I have used the Cannon 550D camera costing £550.99 which was given to me by the Haydon media department which enabled me to take high quality, professional photographs. I have used EF-70-300mm f/4-5.6 IS USM zoom lenses that were also canon which ensured that my close up shots are high standard and well focused. Overall, the Cannon 550D produced good quality images that met my aims of creating a top quality, professional magazine.

White studio background & Lighting

The white studio background was essential in creating a plain canvas for all my images to be taken in. The plain white background ensured that all images had a professional studio finish. In addition it allowed the Camera to put all the focus on my model as well as aiding the lighting in reflecting back on the model. Furthermore, the lighting equipment used for my photo-shoot enabled my images to look as clear and as focused as possible. It also allowed my images to look brighter without the use of editing. Depending on where my model was positioned on the screen, I was able to move the lighting umbrellas up and down to create the same effect no matter the angle.
