ISLAM CLASSES AT EPPING HEIGHTS PUBLIC SCHOOL Could you be an Islam teacher for Epping Heights Public School? We are seeking a volunteer to ensure regular Islam SRE classes continue at our school for all families of the Islam faith. SRE teachers receive support and training including planning using the approved curriculum, behaviour management and teaching strategies. Suitable volunteers have an interest in children’s education and meet all the elements of the approval process including child protection training. You must be available at 9.05-9.40am on Fridays each week during school terms to teach a half hour class from a prescribed curriculum. The program is designed to teach Muslim students the basics of Islam, nurture them to develop a strong sense of identity and purpose and inspire them to lead productive lives by contributing positively to themselves, their communities, their society and the world. The ISRE program is non-sectarian and is provided to all Muslims students, regardless of their sectarian groupings. If you are looking for an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to our school, please visit

https://www.isre.org.au/ for information and contact our school’s volunteer coordinator Mareesa at [email protected]
