The bund itself was designed to contain the release of chemicals from an outdoor processing facility that manufactured. An two- part epoxy resin was applied to the bund wall, following an inspection. Strandek undertook the removal of the existing bund lining, prior to applying an epoxy primer followed by two layers of epoxy resin to the base of the bund and the bund wall. The result was a durable and robust lining compliant with HSE regulations on secondary containment spill bunds .
