ith so much riding on %ngland "inning then# you&d e !ect the country to be fully geared u!to gi$e our national side e$ery chance at com!eting at the to! le$el 4et "ith an archaiccoaching system# a to! di$ision obsessed "ith foreign riches and foreign !layers# a moredemanding league calendar than any other ma or %uro!ean country# and fans and !ress moreinterested in car$ing u! casualties than !racticing !atience# it&s almost as if dear old %nglandgoes out of it&s "ay to limit chances of success
